The Eden 1900 Art Gallery reopening event on June 18, 2022, will kick off with a morning Art Talk by the renowned local artist David W. Jackson followed by an afternoon Outdoor Concert with live music from Eden’s Yellow Rose band.

Meet the Artist – Art Talk
Artist David W. Jackson will discuss his experience in the art business here in the gallery at 11 AM. Mr. Jackson’s art career has prospered over these past 50 years. He has a wealth of knowledge, not just about creating art, but also the business of art, and the mountain west. He will be happy to divulge his secrets to success and answer attendee questions.
The gallery presents Mr. Jackson’s art talk as a community service. The Art Talk event is free with your ticket, but seating is limited. Get your free ticket online at eden1900.com/art-talk. Several of Mr. Jackson’s works are on display at Eden 1900 Art Gallery, and these will serve as examples during his talk.
Live Outdoor Concert
This reopening event features special guests Eden’s Yellow Rose band, who will perform an outdoor concert from 3 to 5 PM. This local band performs classic cover songs which the whole family will enjoy and features guitar, drums, keyboard, flute, and vocals. Bring your own lawn chair seating for this backyard event. You might want to wear sunscreen and a hat, too! The live concert is free and open to attendees, just sign in with email or phone number for contact tracing.

About the Artist
David W. Jackson is a multi-talented and proficient artist who works in several art mediums. He is nationally and internationally known for his talent. He is locally famous as the artist who crafted monumental bronze sculptures for Weber State University (Ogden, Utah) as well as several high schools and businesses. Mr. Jackson is known for his accurate depiction of wildlife and western landscapes. His works feature rich colors in an impressionistic style.
About the Band
Eden’s Yellow Rose is a Northern Utah band that is versatile, polished, and professional. This local band performs classic tunes for banquets, weddings, parties, indoor events or outdoor shows.
About Eden 1900 Art Gallery
Eden 1900 Art Gallery displays works in a variety of mediums by award winning local artists. Works by this month’s featured artist, David W. Jackson, will be on display through June 25th. Typically, each featured artist’s works will remain on display for about one month. Eden 1900 provides a location for artists to display their work locally. Each fall the gallery hosts the Fall in Love with Ogden Valley Plein Air Painting Contest as its signature event. The gallery closes during winter and opens again in late spring.
